Turbine Flowmeters From Great Plains Industries (GPI)
GPI has become the flowmeter supplier of choice for water meters, chemical meters, sub-meters and general purpose flow measurement.
GPI provides unparalleled customer service, on-time delivery and product quality.
GPI offers a full line of flow meters designed specifically for the water and wastewater industries.
Our water meters include a complete line of low cost PVC water meters and Stainless Steel meters for water flow measurement with trace chemicals.
The GPI flow meter line is ideal for sub-metering, water treatment systems, ground water remediation and chiller or boiler applications.
G Series Precision Turbine Meters
The G Series Precision Turbine Meters are engineered for accuracy and long life. This group of meters offers models with NPT, Sanitary, ANSI Flange and Flared fittings to fit your existing design. Meters in this group range from 1/2 inch to 3 inch depending on model. Flow ranges start as low as 0.6 GPM and go to 600 GPM and are Stainless Steel in construction. Choose the G Series Precision
meters for food and beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical applications. This series is our most accurate
line and is designed to work under high pressure. Choose these meters for sanitary applications that require 3-A
Sanitary standards. The GSCPS model in this group meets the requirements for CIP, SIP, and COP.
G2 Series Industrial Grade Turbine Meters
The G2 Series
Turbine meters are self-contained, compact
and feature an intergrated display. This group of meters offers a variety of metal and plastic materials to meet almost any fluid application. Fitting connections include, NPT, ISO thread, Flange, Sanitary and True union. Meters in this group range from 1/2 inch to 2 inch depending on model. Flow ranges start as low as 1 GPM and go to 200 GPM. Choose the G2 Series when you need good accuracy for a reasonable cost. These meters are intrinsically safe for Class 1, Division 1 environments. The Tri-Clover model is great in non-3A food processing applications. These meters are cost-effective and are ideal for monitoring, batching and some process control applications. PVDF meters have no wetted metals and can be used with harsh chemicals
such as sulfuric acid and bleach.
GM Series Industrial Grade Oval Gear Meters
The GM Series Oval Gear Meters are designed for viscous fluids and cover very low flow
ranges. GM meters are available in Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Ryton body materials. Fitting connections include NPT, BSP, Sanitary and Flange connections. Meters in this group, range from 1/8 inch to 2 inch depending on model. Flow ranges start as low as 0.13 GPH and go to 92 GPM and offer pulse output, 4-20 and local displays. These meters are designed to be used with viscous fluids
such as oils, molasses and oil-based paint. They offer the lowest flow range available for GPI and the oval gear design ensures accuracy not affected by viscosity change and makes maintenance easy.
A1 Series Commercial Grade Meter
A1 Commercial Grade Meters are packaged as a self-contained unit. These meters are designed for monitoring applications. The aluminum
models are available in three flow ranges and have 1 inch and 2 inch connections. The nylon
models are available in two flow ranges and 1 inch size only. The electronic display provides 2 totals; factory calibration in gallons and litres; 2 user calibrations and flowrate. Flow ranges for this group start as low as 0.3 GPM and go to 300 GPM.
Economy Electronic Digital Meters
GPI Economy Electronic Digital Meters are best described as "Application Specific.” These meters are the choice when economy in monitoring is required. Their accuracy is lower than our other meter families but these meters are perfect in many basic applications.
01 Series Meters are available in aluminum and nylon. The aluminum meter comes calibrated from the factory for petroleum fuel. The nylon meter is a simple, rugged, water meter. These two meters come in the 1 inch size only with a flow range of 3 to 30 GPM.
FM-300H/R Chemical Meter mounts at the end of the hose or on a pipe inline. The PBT Polyester housing works well for chemicals. The flow range for this meter is 2 to 20 GPM.
Lube Meters are compact meters used for metering engine oils or transmission fluids. The 1/2 inch meter is available with NPT or BSPT connections. The flow range for this meter is 0.26 to 7.8 GPM.
TM Series meters are an economical choice for water
applications. Five sizes of this PVC meter are available. Choose this meter for measuring water in the 1 to 200 GPM flow range.
GPI Electronics come in a variety of types depending on the output required. Output can be as simple as rate of flow to the Wireless system. GPI Electronics can fit almost any signal need. Output models include:
